What we do with your details.
We are a small family workshop, not a data business. This page says what we collect when you get in touch, why, and what happens to it. It is short because there is not much to say.

What we collectOnly what the enquiry needs.
When you use an enquiry form we ask for your name, email address, phone number, a message about the job and, on the contact page, how you would prefer to be reached. You can attach up to five photos of the piece. When you call, we may take the same details down by hand.
The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check that looks at your browser and connection rather than asking you to pick out traffic lights. Cloudflare's own notice explains what it processes.
What happens to itIt goes to the workshop inbox and nowhere else.
A form submission is turned into an email and sent to the workshop. It is not stored in a database on the website. We use your details to reply, quote, book the work in and, if you go ahead, to do the job and keep the usual business records for it. We do not sell or share your details, and we do not use them for marketing.
Our lawful basis is the steps needed before entering a contract with you and, for records of completed work, our legitimate interest in running the business and our legal duty to keep accounting records.
How long we keep itAs long as the job needs.
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted from the inbox within twelve months. Records of completed work, including invoices, are kept for six years after the financial year they belong to, as HMRC requires.
Cookies and hostingNo tracking cookies. No adverts.
This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived connection logs to run and protect the site, and our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when the page loads. Neither is used by us to identify you.
Your rightsAsk, and we will sort it.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Call 0118 973 1631 or use the contact form. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
